How does Ultherapy™ work?

This innovative procedure combines ultrasound imaging with focused ultrasound therapy.

Ultrasound enables physicians to actually see the layers of the soft tissue – to treat the deep support structures of connective tissue that acts as the skin’s foundation. Ultherapy^TM uses the body’s own regenerative response to gently and gradually restore memory to the skin and underlying tissue, reconditioning the network of collagen fibers to withstand the effects of gravity.
 

A session can last 30-90 minutes, depending on areas treated. Improvement can begin immediately for some patients – followed by further improvement over two to three months. Clinical studies show consistent lifting of the brow after just one treatment, creating a refreshed, more ‘open’ look around the eyes. Patients have also noted a softening of the creases around their nose and mouth, a sleeker more defined jawline and less laxity under the chin.
